You and Your GP Practice
You and Your General Practice (YYGP) describes what practices and patients can expect of each other and has been developed to help patients get the best from their GP team. YYGP also sets out how patients and or their representatives can provide feedback or raise concerns about their GP practice. All GP practices will have a link to the YYGP information on their website from the 1st October 2025, on the practice website home page. If you want to give feedback or raise a concern you can ask to speak to your practice manager. If preferred, you can leave your feedback with the ICB here (ICB Digital Patient Feedback - Tell us what you think).
Information in the “You and Your General Practice” document is provided and directed centrally and is subject to national review. The practice is taking steps to deliver your GP care in line with it, subject to available staffing, equipment, software and other physical, legal, contractual and safety constraints, as well as central factors and resources outside the control or gift of the practice.

Please note for GP Practices in Darlington, there is a subcontract in place with 111 to provide general medical cover between 6.00pm and 6.30pm.
